Dale Pollek - President & CEO
Mr. Pollek has over 20 years of experience in the EDA and electronics industries. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Celestry Design Technologies, Inc. (acquired by Cadence Design Systems in 2002), the leading provider of physical analysis solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industry. He was instrumental in establishing the new company positioning, naming, R&D strategy, corporate image and assisting with 2002 funding round and M&A decisions. Prior thereto, he was the vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Novas Software, a provider of design debugging solutions. Mr. Pollek has also held several management positions for Systems Science, a verification testbench pioneer that was acquired by Synopsys (NASDAQ: SNPS) in 1998 and two pioneering EDA companies, CAE Systems and ECAD (which later became Cadence after the merger with SDA). Mr. Pollek has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
